Introduction

Site accommodation is the umbrella term for the cabins, toilet blocks and linked compounds that turn an empty plot into a working site. On this page: the four product categories Hayes runs from the Castlefreke yard, the typical use cases for each, and how they fit together on a compound.

Click into any range for full sizes, specs and recent jobs. Or pick up the phone and we’ll spec the whole thing in one call.

The four ranges.

Pick by what the unit needs to do: daily office and canteen use (jackleg), secure or exposed sites (antivandal), sanitary blocks (toilet cabins), or a full linked block (compounds).

One supplier across all four ranges means one delivery date, one phone number, and a compound that's actually been spec'd to work together: not stitched from five different hire firms.

Questions

Quick answers.

Procurement, facilities and engineering teams: these come up most. Don't see yours? Pick up the phone.

Do you deliver across Ireland?

Yes. Every Hayes Cabin Services unit is delivered nationwide from our Castlefreke yard in West Cork. The truck-mounted cranes in our fleet lift the unit off the truck and position it exactly where you need it on-site, so no separate crane is required. RAMS documentation is provided in advance for every delivery as standard.

What’s the difference between jackleg and antivandal?

Jackleg cabins are steel-frame on six adjustable legs: lighter, faster to deploy, ideal for daily-use office and canteen spaces on serviced sites. Antivandal cabins are full steel-clad with shuttered windows and reinforced doors: heavier, more secure, built for rural, unsecured or long-duration sites where theft, vandalism or weather are a real risk.

How quickly can you deliver?

Most deliveries are scheduled within 48–72 hours of order confirmation, subject to stock and route. For specialist modifications or bespoke builds the lead time is longer. We’ll confirm a firm date in writing before invoice.

Can I mix jackleg and antivandal in one compound?

Yes, common pattern is jackleg offices and canteens (where the crew lives) and antivandal stores and toilet blocks (where security matters). All link together on the same compound and ship on the same delivery.

Can I hire instead of buy?

Most units in the range are available for sale or hire. Hire works on weekly or monthly rates with delivery and collection included; sale is a one-off purchase. Long-term projects under roughly 18 months usually work out cheaper on hire. We’re happy to price both options side-by-side.

Are toilet cabins plumbed or serviced?

Both. Plumbed blocks connect to mains water and foul, fit-and-forget for long-term sites. Serviced (vac-tank) units run independent of mains. We partner with a serviced-toilet operator for weekly servicing across your hire.

Do you provide RAMS and delivery paperwork?

Yes: Risk Assessment and Method Statement documents are issued in advance of every delivery, covering the lift, the site approach, and our banksman’s role. We can route paperwork through your procurement system if required (PDF, portal upload, or signed hard copy on arrival).

How fast can a full compound be delivered?

Standard 5–10 unit compounds run 1–3 weeks from confirmed order, depending on stock. Custom finishes (branded paint, vinyl walls) add 1–2 weeks. Single units off the yard typically go same-week.

Are you set up for purchase orders and B2B invoicing?

Yes. Hayes Cabin Services Ltd is VAT-registered and works to standard account terms for established clients. We invoice against your PO number and supply unit-level reference codes for asset registers. Tier-one clients including Pfizer, HSE, MSD, AbbVie, ESB and Cork County Council are billed on this basis.

Spec your site accommodation.
