Yes. Every Hayes Cabin Services unit is delivered nationwide from our base in West Cork. The truck-mounted cranes in our fleet lift the unit off the truck and position it exactly where you need it on-site, so no separate crane is required. RAMS documentation is provided in advance for every delivery as standard.
Most deliveries are scheduled within 48–72 hours of order confirmation, subject to stock and route. For specialist modifications or bespoke builds the lead time is longer. We’ll confirm a firm date in writing before invoice.
Most units in the range are available for sale or hire. Hire works on weekly or monthly rates with delivery and collection included; sale is a one-off purchase. Long-term projects under roughly 18 months usually work out cheaper on hire. We’re happy to price both options side-by-side.
Yes: Risk Assessment and Method Statement documents are issued in advance of every delivery, covering the lift, the site approach, and our banksman’s role. We can route paperwork through your procurement system if required (PDF, portal upload, or signed hard copy on arrival).
Yes. Hayes Cabin Services Ltd is VAT-registered and works to standard account terms for established clients. We invoice against your PO number and supply unit-level reference codes for asset registers. Tier-one clients including Pfizer, HSE, MSD, AbbVie, ESB and Cork County Council are billed on this basis.
A jackleg cabin is a steel-framed, portable site cabin with adjustable legs (“jacks”) that allow it to be levelled on uneven ground. The construction is lighter than antivandal: making it cost-effective for offices, staff canteens, drying rooms, and other site facilities where heavy steel security construction isn’t the priority.
Convex is the standard rounded steel roof, robust and weather-tight. Apex is the pitched profile. The pitched profile delivers greater internal headroom and a more premium feel throughout. The choice usually comes down to budget and how the cabin will be used; we’re happy to talk through both for your site.
Every unit ships with LOT 20 compliant panel heaters, internal lighting, sockets, and full insulation. Walls are finished in 12.5mm plasterboard. Canteens are fitted with a sink unit and undercounter water heater as standard. Specific layouts (office, canteen, drying room, security hut) come with the appropriate fit-out for the room type.
Yes, cabins can be positioned side-by-side or end-to-end and linked with door openings or covered walkways to form a larger site facilities block. We can plan the layout with you in advance so the delivered units arrive ready to combine.
Yes. Our drying room cabins are fitted with freestanding coathooks and benches, with lockers also available on request. The LOT 20 panel heaters and ventilation keep wet weather gear dry between shifts.
Antivandal cabins use heavy steel security construction throughout: fully welded steel walls, doors, and shutters, designed to resist forced entry and impact. They also include an external electrical connection point as standard so the unit can be powered up before final fit-out. Jackleg cabins are lighter steel-framed builds, appropriate where extended security construction isn’t required.
No, antivandal units are fully insulated and lined with 12.5mm plasterboard, then fitted with LOT 20 compliant panel heaters and internal lighting. Inside, they feel the same as a jackleg cabin; the difference is in the shell.
Yes: antivandal cabins can be positioned and linked the same way as jackleg, end-to-end or side-by-side, to create larger offices, canteens, or site facilities blocks. We’ll plan door positions and external electrical connection points in advance.
Antivandal is the right choice anywhere extended steel construction is preferred over standard jackleg: typically when the unit will be on-site for an extended period, when it needs to be left unattended outside working hours, or when client procurement specifies it as standard. Pharmaceutical, manufacturing, and engineering clients often spec antivandal as default for this reason.
